I-texo recruitment is currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a regional D&B Contractor based in Buckinghamshire.
The position requires an individual who is competent, self-motivated and financially focused. You will have surveying experience in dealing with the following: contract negotiation, submission of valuations, cost management, monthly reporting, and final account agreement. You will be expected to handle your own workload immediately, but you will also work closely with the current Managing Surveyor.
The successful candidate will work together with the contracts team to manage the commercial side of the business, including the financial control of current and future projects
Experience with a main contractor is essential and they are ideally looking for someone who has specialist knowledge of steel structure builds
Qualifications/Experience:
BA (Hons) / BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
Previous experience within a similar role
