Based: Live with 45 minutes of the office i.e. Herts, Beds, N. London, Bucks etc.
Site Locations: Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire & Cambridgeshire

A family run regional Housing Developer based in Buckinghamshire currently has an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a team with a proven track record of working on new build projects. They offer a streamlined approach working with housing associations and local authorities creating homes which people aspire to live in.
Key Responsibilities:
• Involvement with co-ordination of design information between all consultants including procurement of supplier led designs
• Ensure the appropriate collateral warranties are in place with the relevant designers as defined in the contract
• Liaise with services co-ordinator to ensure that all services are procured in accordance with the contract programme
• Liaison with external clients once contracts have been exchanged including attendance at monthly project meetings, producing contractors reports, monthly valuations and all other contractual administration
• Oversee production of handover information at end of contract including Health & Safety file etc
• Ensuring the projects are carried out within budget including monthly reporting of costs
• Responsibility for procuring subcontractors and suppliers to carry out the works/provide the materials in accordance with the contract specification
• Placement of Subcontract & Material orders
• Authorising Subcontract and Supplier payments
• Ensure the projects are carried out as per the contract specification
A good knowledge of the residential sector is also required to be considered for this position.
